When three friends convince themselves to play together, they'll always find a way. DarkStars came together in the spring of 2018 and quickly gelled. The original idea was to be a cover band for a while as more music leaked out of them, and after their second practice, they played a headlining slot at the Pyramid on May 26, 2018. 

It was so early in their development the band didn't even have a name yet - This show was under the name "Falling Upstairs". Two months later, DarkStars was born, and another live show in Carman was in the books. Over the next year and a half, the band would  write a flurry of new original songs. They played a headline show at the Albert, along with two shows in Elma.

During this time the band worked on original tracks towards recording their first album, and then the Pandemic hit. 

They're working their way back now, and have a lot of unfinished business.
