Fake Talk is a dynamic alt-rock band that blends introspective lyricism with raw, emotive soundscapes. Beginning as a school project in 2016 by founding member and primary songwriter Nic Herzog. Fake Talk was actualized in 2023 with the addition of members DJ Sangalang (bass), Nick Fondse (guitar) and Casey Fiorante (Drums). Fake Talk draws from a diverse range of influences, seamlessly mixing elements of alternative rock, post-punk, shoegaze and grunge. With catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and a touch of melancholy, their music captures the tension between personal reflection and the chaotic pulse of modern life.

Their debut EP, slated to be release in 2025, showcases their ability to craft deeply personal songs while maintaining an infectious energy. Each track is a narrative exploration, with poetic lyrics that deal with themes like self-doubt, love, and the disillusionment of contemporary existence. The band's sound is marked by powerful guitar riffs, steady basslines, and evocative vocals, creating an atmosphere that is both intense and cathartic.
