A brand new Winnipeg-based project formed in the wake of emotionally turbulent times for singer and lyricist Chris Doerksen, Little Mountains are an indie/alternative outfit with a multitude of influences including the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Jukebox the Ghost, and Coldplay. With longtime best friends Kasey Kurtz, Alex Schuff and Matthew Granger coming together, they went from high-school cover band to something bigger and better. From vibey, lovesick ballads to catchy, rocking toe-tappers, there is something for everyone in Little Mountains’ catalogue, no matter your mood. Expect to see Little Mountains making rounds at local festivals and venues sooner rather than later as they work their way into the Manitoba music scene.
