About

Known for his soft baritone yet powerful vocals, Rein is a Filipino-Canadian indie artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. After graduating college during the midst of the pandemic in 2020, he pursued a side-career in music as a singer-songwriter and producer drawing inspiration from John Legend, Morissette, Frank Sinatra, and many others. Since releasing his first single Waiting (Stripped), Rein has produced and released 14 singles, two EPs, and a full-length album. He's also performed at multiple venues in Winnipeg such as The Good Will Social Club, The Royal Albert Arms Hotel, and Zoo Lights at Assiniboine Park & Zoo. His single Glass was played on CBC Radio, and his jazz-inspired EP Encounters. was featured on The Uniter and The Manitoban. Later in 2022, Rein will release his second full-length album "Dear Love: A Letter by Rein" featuring his latest singles Streets of Mine and "Trusted Your Heart".

Aside from music, Rein is a creative-collaborator, photographer, videographer and full-time communications and marketing specialist.
