A hidden collective of talent, The Rangers are an official D.I.D. system of multiple identities that write and perform high energy synth-based hiphop music, often depicting a wide variety of meaningful subjects such as the importance of mental health, coming of age, the uplifting of community, and the representation of family values and morals.

Of the seven existing identities in the system, 3 Rangers perform on stage. 

-The Red Ranger: 3-Rex is an emcee that is often compared to the likes of Anderson Paak and Logic, and is the lead lyricist and front-man for the team. His writing style is often described as poetic, profound, and yet direct whenever necessary. To date, all lyrics written by the system do not feature any vulgar language.

-The Silver Ranger: Sian is an RCM trained classical pianist and is also the main singer of the group. They are often inspired by pianists such as Stevie Wonder, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elton John. Sian plays with an improvisational style of flexibility, combining classical technique with a conscious for rhythm and space in the presence of other instruments.

-The Black Ranger: Silvestre is the lead producer and composer within the system. They are inspired by a range of producers, especially that of Metro Boomin, DJ Mustard, and Nujabes. Silvestre plans out their arrangements with narrative intent, focusing on creating a musical narrative without overcomplicating the instrumental.

 

Together, these unique identities have different thoughts, opinions, and skillsets, which reflect in their approach to music. Quite literally in constant internal collaboration, The Rangers have the ability to re-energize the room with a sound quite like no other, defining what it means to be plural musicians.
