My name is Trevor Merasty aka "Tyson T" A 25 year old Indigenous recording artist from Thompson MB, I was raised in CFS and In a poor neighbourhood so Music culture played a big part in my life, At the age of 9 I made my first song and grew consistently in my music throughout the years. But also struggled with addiction and depression & faced adversity such as joblessness, homelessness and addiction. At 21 a huge opportunity to be apart of a short film called "The Ballad Of Gus" sparked my name and I hit the mark with it starring in big events such as The TIFF & VIFF. Which boosted my decision to chase my dream as an artist and it wasn’t until 2022/2023 I finally started releasing music out on streaming platforms, which helped led to my recovery with addiction. More importantly inspired to make a positive influence for the communities that faces relatable challenges. Inspiring the world through music and art to bring peace to life.
