Award winning artist Renée Lamoureux is a Canadian born French Métis singer songwriter.  Renée received the 2016 Female Artist of the Year Award at the Manitoba Country Music Awards and recently was nominated for Best Country Album 2017 at the Indigenous Music Awards. Her latest sophomore album: 'Dare to be You' is chocked full of positive messages about perseverance and never giving up.  Produced by Murray Pulver (Brothers Landreth, Doc Walker, Sierra Noble), the record is an album with big ambition, campaigning to raise your spirits and stand true to the person you were meant to be.  Renée's latest single: 'Two Step' held steady for two months in the charts on the National Aboriginal Music Countdown between #3-#5, reaching at #1 for one week in February, 2017.

With her pop-fueled songwriting abilities and a voice that ranges from soulfully powerful to sweet and gentle, Renée Lamoureux has been wowing fans ever since she first arrived in the music scene gaining exposure through her success as one half member of Canadian duo Keith and Renee.  Launching eight albums in total during her music career, Renée has won and been nominated for numerous awards, toured across North America, performed with major artists such as Jann Arden, Dean Brody and Dallas Smith and contributed her philanthropy work with Free The Children.

Born and raised in Ile Des Chênes. a small French town south of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Renée began exploring music with piano lessons at the age of six and discovered her singing voice around that same time after her parents bought her and her siblings a microphone.  Renée wrote her first song at the age of ten when her 5th grade teacher rented a drum machine and assigned the class to write a song and perform it live to their parents. 

Since releasing 'Dare to be You', Renée's music has been gaining lots of momentum placing in the semi-finals at the International Songwriting Competition and rotating on Sirius XM and Stingray Music.  Her french song 'Je Vise le Ciel' was chosen as the best Top 20 songs of 2016 by ARC du Canada.  This summer, Renee takes part in Aboriginal Day Live and the Canada Summer Games.

Her past music has been placed on AT&T commercials in the USA, Degrassi The Next Generation and Degrassi Goes Hollywood, 15 Love and several Hallmark movies.
