Manitoba Country Music Awards Announce 2023 Nominees

The Manitoba Country Music Association is celebrating the hard work and talent of Manitoba's country music community, announcing this year's Manitoba Country Music Awards nominees. The gala awards take place at the Club Regent Event Centre on November 4, hosted by Aaron Pritchett.

There are plenty of artists with multiple nominations this year. Catie St.Germain is nominated in six categories Single Of The Year, Fay Walker Song Of The Year (Songwriters), Fans Choice, Emerging Artist Award

NCI FM Indigenous Country Music Award, and Interactive Artist, Duo Or Group Of The Year.

Emma Peterson, Gary Gach, and JR Charron are up for five awards each. Amanda Von Riesen, Brandi Vezina, Jade Turner, Kendra Kay, Petric, and The Sean Taylor Band are each up for nominations in four categories. Triple nominees this year include Desiree Dorion, Morgan Grace, and Nelson Little. Brad Moggie, Jaryn Friesen, Jerry Sereda, Jivetown, Mitchell Makoons, Quinton Blair, Ryan Keown, and Two Crows for Comfort are double nominees. Voting for the Fan's Choice Award is open until September 20 at www.manitobacma.com/fanvote.php. 

The MCMA is a non-profit organization, dedicated to the promotion, development, and enhancement of all aspects of Manitoba country music at the local, national, and international level. The MCMA endeavors to create venues for the promotion of Manitoba country artists through sponsorship of its own events and involvement in other organizations' events.
