Urban Vacation is actually working quite a bit this summer. The indie trio is fresh from the Real Love Summer Fest stage and already gearing up for the release of its new album, Success with House Plants. The band takes over the closing night of The Laundry Room—a pop up theatre run by Ryan Steel, who does visuals for the band, and Matt Schneider—on August 10 at Forth. During the daytime there will be a continuous screening of the Steel-directed “without shouting - a film about urban vacation”. Stay tuned for more videos in coming months.
