Brandi Vezina “Paper Town”

Brandi Vezina is continuing to build big buzz in the music world this year. The award-winning Métis singer/songwriter released her seven-song EP Grit & Glamour in June, and garnered national recognition through Indigenous Song Camp in Toronto and the OHSOTO’KINO music incubator program at Calgary's Studio Bell. She also earned four Manitoba Country Music Award nominations, including Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Interactive Artist of the Year, and the Fay Walker Song of the Year for "Paper Town" with co-writer Scott Nolan! The song is at the heart of Vezina's EP, and inspired by true events, telling the story of a once-thriving mill town that lost its lifeblood when the industry collapsed. Next month, she'll take the stage at the awards gala on November 8 at Club Regent Event Centre with Nolan. She'll also perform at the Coors Light Concert Series on November 14 during the 2025 Grey Cup Festival alongside Alan Doyle. We've got "Paper Town" for you as this week's feature... press play and do not miss Brandi Vezina live!
