Indie rock/pop quartet Hope Atlantic makes its five-song debut with EP, Mercy Street Choir, produced by John Paul Peters. The band, which features members of Port Amoral and Sick City, will release the EP on CD and vinyl on September 18 at the West End Cultural Centre with opening sets by Fame, The Afterbeat, and Kids On Fire. They've also offered up a video for "Boxes," directed by Randy Frykas (who's releasing the DVD for Call to Arms: The Story of the Royal Albert on September 24 at, where else, the Royal Albert).
