Every year, one festival sets the sun on the summer music season in the great outdoors. The Harvest Moon Festival celebrates the turn of the season in Clearwater September 14-16 with workshops on sustainable living, a farmer's market, kid's activities, a fair trade fair, food vendors, and a hearty helping of local music surrounded by the beauty of the Pembina Valley.

The mostly made-in-Manitoba lineup runs the genre gamut. Al Simmons, Atlaas, Bo Legged, Carly Dow, Dana Lee, Ian La Rue (Heartbeat City), JayWood, Justin Lacroix, Kenzie Jane, Lanikai, Madeleine Roger, Moon Tan, Okay Mann, Ridley Bent and The Killer Tumbleweeds, Slow Leaves, The New Customs, Two Hip, and more are set to hit the stage.

This year marks the festival’s 17th year in Clearwater, working with the community to build an event that’s both for and about the people of the area. Harvest Moon Festival has helped support economic development and family farming in southwestern Manitoba. Beyond encouraging economic development and providing great music, education and information have always played significant roles in the event. Festival-goers can attend informative and hands-on workshops, free with admission. Also, there will be a children’s area, an open mic stage, a fair-trade fair and farmer’s market, and locally-produced food from a variety of food vendors.

Check out the details in our MB Live app and online listings. The festival tends to sell out, so if you're planning your fall, don't miss out. Tickets are on sale now and you can get all the ticket details at harvestmoonfestival.ca.
