Rebel Yell
"Kill Em All"

From the album Social Studios

Featured track, available from March 31 to April 7

Rebel Yell is back with its self-produced sophomore effort, Social Studies. Mixed and mastered by Craig Boychuk (KEN Mode, Greg MacPherson), the punk hop duo's new album follows up its well-received 2008 debut, Greatest Hits, which took band mates Critical Jim and El Gringo from their start as prog-punk outfit, Red Blanket, to a spot at Toronto's NXNE last year. They'll unleash Social Studies at the Pyramid on April 1 with backing from a couple of Details (Keli Martin on bass and Shaun Gibson on drums), and guests Republic of Champions and The Hearsemen. Before the band takes the stage, they'll debut their brand new video for "Kill Em All," produced by longtime collabator, Trevor Gill. "Kill Em All" is also our featured download this week in The Loudspeaker. Catch Rebel Yell live on April Fool's, read about them in Uptown, and grab the track for free. No joke.
