Katie Murphy has a lot going on right now. The folk/pop singer/songwriter is ending her six-week Canadian tour with a hometown EP release for her latest effort, Exes & Uh Ohs. The new album, which was produced by Murphy and Lloyd Peterson at his Wonder Dog Recording, gets its party treatment on May 13 at cozy Pembina nightspot, VP Nights. Murphy will be joined by husband and fellow musician, Sean Brown who opens the show. Between writing, recording, releasing, and touring (with Brown and their young two children, no less), Murphy's still had some time to chat to Metro and find herself featured in the Winnipeg Free Press.
