Oh My Darling
"Roustabout"

From the album Sweet Nostalgia

Featured track, available from June 30 to July 14

Oh My Darling better remember the words to "Oh Canada." The roots quartet will be spending July 1 in London, England's Trafalgar Square to perform at the huge Canada Day London 2011 event, along with Blue Rodeo, Alex Cuba, Karkwa, and more. The concert is the second last the band's six-week European tour, which has had them playing to sold out rooms in Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and finally, England. After a show at the Maverick Music Festival in Suffolk, they'll hop a plane and head back to Manitoba to play the Winnipeg Folk Festival, including a Main Stage spot before Tegan and Sara on July 7 and hosting duties for the Manitoba workshop -- "So Long Bannatyne, Hello Birds Hill" -- on July 10 with Twilight Hotel, Scott Nolan, Imaginary Cities, The Crooked Brothers, and DJ Hunnicutt. They'll spend much of the summer on the road with a stop back in Manitoba for Lac du Bonnet's Fire & Water Music Festival at the end of July.

We've got a sneak preview of Oh My Darling's upcoming album, Sweet Nostalgia, as our featured download this week. You'll have to wait until fall 2012 to get the new album, which was produced by Steve Dawson (Old Man Luedecke, The Deep Dark Woods) and the band, so download "Roustabout" now... and don't miss Oh My Darling live at Folk Fest.
