Les Surveillantes are having a busy year. After finishing up a tour of the Maritimes and showcases in France and the OCFF conference in Ontario, the quartet is now en route to Whitehorse to showcase at BreakOut West. Les Surveillantes will also be at the Western Canadian Music Awards, where their album, La racine carrée du coeur, is up for Francophone Recording of the Year. The album landed yet another nod, this time for French Songwriter of the Year from the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Right after the Yukon, they'll head south east to tour Ontario, hitting Toronto, Ottawa, Sudbury, and beyond. Their song "Pause Santé" is our featured download this week.
