Del Barber is truly a prairie boy. The JUNO-nominated, Western Canadian Music Award-winning singer/songwriter released the aptly-named album, Prairieography, on True North Records in Febraury to critical acclaim, and the album is already topping the national campus radio charts. Barber has continued to log countless hours on the road, including a coveted showcase spot at International Folk Alliance in Kansas City and a Friday Live performance on CBC's Q. He'll be coming home to Manitoba for a two-night hometown CD release party at the Park Theatre, March 20 and 21 (sorry folks, the latter show is completely sold out). He'll also be lacing up his skates and taking on some NHL greats for charity at the JUNO Cup on March 28 at the MTS Iceplex. Next up, he'll return to the road to continue his North American tour.
