Things are about to get busy for Latka. The indie pop/rock outfit is gearing up for a couple of covered showcase spots at the 2014 BreakOut West Music Festival, which hits various Winnipeg venues October 3-4. The band will also head to the Canopy stage at The Forks for a fun, free (and rather eclectic) BreakOut West Sneak Peek show during Culture Days on September 27, alongside Cassidy Mann and Trio Bembe. To help get you in the BOW mood, we’ve got Latka’s “The Arrival” as this week’s featured song. Its video, directed by band member Milos Mitrovic, is up for Video of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards, which take place during the #BOW2014 festivities.
