Raine Hamilton
"Everything"

From the album Past Your Past

Featured track, available from May 20 to May 29

Raine Hamilton is ready to reveal her debut full-length, Past Your Past. A follow-up to her acclaimed EP, Small Packages, the new album -- which is already making its ways onto the Earshot charts --- gets its release party on May 27 at the West End Cultural Centre. The special event also includes a songwriter's circle featuring fellow locals Ingrid Gatin, JD Edwards (also of The Small Glories), and Oh My Darling alum Allison DeGroot. Hamilton has been turning heads with her stellar solo performance in The Great Canadian Journey video series, Western Canadian tour dates, numerous local shows, not to mentioned a coveted showcase spot at Folk Music Ontario in the fall. You can also see her in action in our mini-doc about the winter songwriter retreat at FortWhyte Alive. Next up, Hamilton will hit the road for a summer of Canadian tour dates, including stops at Manitoba fests Real Love Festival on June 7, plus Fire & Water Festival and  Shine On Festival of Music & Art in August. Her new tune "Everything" is this week's featured download. Give some spins while you read profiles at Snob's MusicMyToba, and The Projector, and don't miss Raine Hamilton live.
