Red Moon Road
"Words of the Walls"

From the album Sorrows and Glories

Featured track, available from July 23 to July 31

Manitoba audiences have a chance to welcome globetrotting roots outfit Red Moon Road home. The trio, which hit stages across Europe in recent months, will head to the Brandon Folk, Music & Art Festival this weekend as it gears up for the hometown release of its latest recording, Sorrows and Glories, next month. Sheena and the two Daniels are set take over the West End Cultural Centre on September 11 to celebrate the album's release, along with friends The Small Glories and Alberta's Matt Patershuk. Meanwhile, the band has been turning up all over the media, with features in MyToba, Exclaim! The Jazz Man, and, of course, Hamburger Wochenblatt. You'll have to wait until September to get your mittens on Sorrows and Glories via iTunes and in stories but we've got a special treat for you... Red Moon Road's "Words of the Walls" is this week's featured download. Grab it, get yourself to Brandon to catch the band in the sunshine, and head to the WECC next month to catch them under the bright lights.
