Duotang
"Nostalgia's a Vice"

From the album New Occupation

Featured track, available from November 3 to November 11

Duotang is back. The indie rock pair returns this month with its first album in 15 years, New Occupation, out on Montreal-based label Stomp Records. After what turned out to be a 12-year hiatus, the hometown fave reunited in 2014 for a special show in Vancouver at the request of Mint Records, followed it up with a sold-out Winnipeg show, and hit plenty of stages this summer including the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, the main stage on Canada Day at The Forks, Calgary’s Sled Island and Edmonton's UP&DT Festival. The duo also landed on a new benefit compilation for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada from Calgary's Treeline Recordings, along with Chad VanGaalen, Cuff the Duke vocalist Wayne Petti, Woodpigeon, and more. Expect a new video for the second single off the album, "Nostalgia's a Vice", to drop on November 10. That track also happens to be our featured song this week. Get it, check out some of the recent news and profiles, and don't miss Duotang's take over of The Good will on November 12 to celebrate the release of the new album.
