Steve Bell
"Where the Good Way Lies"

From the album Where the Good Way Lies

Featured track, available from November 24 to December 2

Steve Bell is set to share his latest album, Where the Good Way Lies, via local label Signpost Music. The two-time JUNO Award winning singer/songwriter offers up his 20th album this month, making a hometown stop on his album release tour at the Grant Memorial Baptist Church on November 26. To celebrate, we've got the title track as our featured song this week. The lyrics were initially inspired by a hand-stitched quilt, designed and created by Metis elder Ruby Payette from Lac Du Bonnet, that memorializes the seven sacred teachings of Indigenous wisdom. The song was co-produced by Vince Fontaine (Eagle & Hawk, Indian City) and features award-winning rapper Fresh IE and a traditional song written and performed by Co-Co Ray Stevenson. Next up, Bell will continue on the road with dates in Ontario and out across Western Canada. Get the song, check out the complete album, and don't miss Steve Bell live on stage.
