Local label Deafwish celebrates its fifth birthday this weekend with an all-out show. Featuring performances by Employee Of The Month, Blackout Brigade, Ultra Mega, and Kill Katie, the show takes over Ozzy's on November 28.
Beyond the birthday party, indie outfit Ultra Mega has a few gigs coming up in the next few weeks, including a show hosted by the UofM School of Art at The Albert on December 17 and another at The Standard on December 19. They'll also hit Mid-Ocean at the beginning of December to record an EP, which they hope to release in by February. The band is offering you an unreleased demo of "Rubble of a Love," which they plan to re-record and get onto the upcoming EP.
