Figure Walking

From the album The Big Other

Featured track, available from August 17 to August 25

Figure Walking is keeping things busy this summer. The indie rock outfit launched its debut The Big Other via Disintegration Records/Marathon of Dope and promptly landed a coveted spot on the Polaris Music Prize long list. The duo -- Greg MacPherson and Rob Gardiner -- celebrated the release with hometown audiences last week and returns to the Winnipeg stage on August 18 for Interstellar Rodeo at The Forks. Next up, MacPherson and Gardiner will head to Fredericton's Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival on September 15 before hitting Pop Montreal on September 17. They also signed a two-year agency deal with Indie Montreal for touring in the Province of Quebec. Stay tuned for new music mid next year, as the recording is underway for a full length. We've got the duo's track "Singapore", featuring vocals by Hailey Primrose, for you at this week's featured track. Get it, turn up the volume, and don't miss Figure Walking live.
