Hay Fever is about to have a busy February. Fresh from a spot at the Big Fun Festival, the bluegrass outfit is tuning up the instruments and getting ready to launch its new album, The River, a new video, and play a handful of shows. You can catch the two-show release party on February 15 and 16 at Times Change(d). Casati's Grace Hrabi and MacTague and MacAnallen will be joining the festivities on the 16th. Next up, Hay Fever will warm things up at Festival du Voyageur's Sugar Shack on February 17. Keep an eye open for the soon-to-be-released video for the album's title track, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Deco Dawson. The band will also be donating 10% of album sales to Drag the Red via rockthedock.org. For you this week, we've got a special first listen to "The River".
