Micah Erenberg
"Occupy the World"

From the album Poor Mic's Toe

Featured track, available from July 5 to July 13

Get ready, Folk Fest-ers: Micah Erenberg is getting ready to take his signature indie-folk sound to the Birds Hill Park stage. After a busy start to the summer – including performances at TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival and Canada Day at The Forks – the singer/songwriter will be making his Winnipeg Folk Festival debut this year. Catch him on the Main Stage on July 6 for a short set, on the Bur Oak stage the same day with fellow Manitobans for the "At The Hundredth Meridian" workshop, among other performances throughout the weekend. On the horizon, he has some other summer music plans, including a show with Slow Leaves at Times Change(d) on July 12, a set at Fire + Water Festival next month, the About Songs Youngbloods tour of Germany, and a handful of other dates in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. He's just finished recording a new album, so stay tuned for some new music. In the meantime, we've got his tune "Occupy the World" of his latest recording, Poor Mic's Toe, for you. Press play and don't miss Micah Erenberg live on stage.
