Eagle & Hawk is celebrating a major milestone this month. The JUNO-winning rock outfit is launching a best-of CD that looks back on a career that has spanned two decades. They'll take over the West End Cultural Centre on November 28 for a hometown release party. They're also are about announce details of a documentary looking back at their internationally-acclaimed history. The band was founded in 1995 by Vince Fontaine, who envisioned a sound combining Indigenous themes, imagery, and elements with rock/pop. That journey took them across stages in North America and European capitals where they captured many music fans. But it's not all about fêting the past... the band is in the studio recording their first album in eight years. Stay tuned for a 2019 release and some some select dates and performances. Up next, they'll hit The Assembly of First Nations Winter Celebration Dinner  in Ottawa on December 6 at the Shaw Convention Centre before returning to Manitoba for two nights at South Beach Casino on December 29 and 30.
