January is here and the 2019 Big Fun Festival is kicking things into gear. The indie music discovery festival takes over Winnipeg venues January 23-27 for a dozen concerts and featuring over 30 acts, including many headlining locals. One of the hometown acts getting in on this year's music + fun is folk/roots duo Two Crows for Comfort. The pair will hit the stage at The Good Will to put a sweet end to the festivities at the Big Fun Breakfast on January 27 along with The Grey Jays. You can also catch them on January 10 at Times Change(d) High & Lonesome Club. They'll be bringing plenty of songs from their bran new album, 17 Feet, which they launched on December 8. The duo picked up a couple of Manitoba Country Music Award nods this year, including Group/Duo of the Year and Roots Artist/Duo/Group of the Year after landing a spot on last year's Uniter Fiver list. Coming up, they'll play a handful of house concert throughout the province in February and March. We've got their track "Into the Wild" for you as this week's featured track.
