Helfreya is turning up the volume this summer. The Winnipeg-based four-piece -- which combines metal, progressive rock, psychedelic, doom, jazz, and folk in its signature style -- launched their album at The Park Theatre last month and were featured on local music podcast Witchpolice Radio. The band is already gearing up and writing songs for a follow-up album and you can listen for them on Power 97's Mandatory Manitoba on September 14.
