October is a bittersweet month for Yes We Mystic fans. It will bring new works from the Winnipeg-based quintet, who premiere their short concert film, Showroom, on October 17 at Cinematheque and release their third album, Trust Fall, on October 21 via German label DevilDuck Records. But it will also mark the end of their enigmatic art pop. The album features a stellar list of music friends, including Chelliot Osuntade from Julien's Daughter / Fold Paper / JayWood, Super Duty Tough Work's Olivier Macharia, Virgo Rising, and more. Produced and engineered by mustachioed band member Adam Fuhr at his House of Wonders studio, the recording also features the work of John Paul Peters (mixing) and Cam Loeppky (mastering).
