"The Gentleman Farmer"

From the album

Featured track, available from December 16 to December 30

Oh the weather outside is frightful,  but the tunes are so delightful...

We've got a brand new Christmas song for you this year, courtesy of electro pop act Oldfolks Home. You'll have to wait for the spring for the duo's new album, but while you're waiting, download "The Gentleman Farmer" and add it to your holiday music collection. (For true audiophiles, you can get a hi-def version directly from Oldfolks Home here.)

We've also loaded up a thwack of holiday treats into the Manitoba Music Radio to keep your ears warm this season, including original songs as well as some old favourites. So far, we have 30 tracks from the likes of The Liptonians, Courier News, Alan Gillies, Doug Edmond, Lindsay White, Ray St. Germain, Jodie Borle, Jaylene Johnson, Nathan, Duet Maryna, Monika Loewen Wall, Barbara Joy, Cheering for the Bad Guy, Keith and Renee, The Details, J.P. Hoe, Vanessa Kuzina, Joey Stylez & Jason Gordon, Quinzy, Jodi King, Heather Longstaffe, Voldis and the Melodicas, and Flo, with more to come. (The radio goes particularly well with cookies, especially the ones with sprinkles.)
