What started out as an exploration of sound loops and other stock presets on an iPhone 6 plus became a multi-genre meld of sound expressions that are influenced by Hip-hop, Afrobeat, Rock, Pop, Cinematic Musical Scores, and Alternative RnB to name a few.

The raw transient energy of his voice partnered with down-to-earth lyrics, instrumentals, and the quirky ad-libs in his music, display Tommyphyll's ability as not just a producer but as a storyteller who guides the listener on a journey of relatable reflection with exciting twists and turns. 

 His musical influences include but are not limited to Jon Bellion, Burna Boy, Coldplay, Hans Zimmer, Juls, Asa  Fall out boy, and Kanye West
