Free / Presented by BPM | Black Professionals in Music

Finding your place in the music industry can be tricky. There are no one-size-fits-all strategies that can guarantee success, so what’s the best way to approach your career when it often feels like you need to be all things to all people all the time? Learning from others who’ve charted their own path to success can be an important part of any artist’s journey.

We’re excited to welcome DJ, Sirius XM programmer, and media host Victor Bibby pka Frank Vinatra (Mixtape North), and artist, dancer, and entrepreneur Alexie to discuss the importance of carving out a niche and establishing yourself professionally in the music industry and share some of the strategies they’ve used to find their place in the Canadian music landscape.

This event is part of the BPM X WAG-Qaumajuq celebrations for Black History Month. Find out more at www.manitobamusic.com/bpmxwag
