Fringe Fest Embraces the Live Music

As the summer of festivals continues this week, there will be plenty of chances to take in great local live music. The Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival will once again take over The Cube for free performances from several local bands and DJs as well as street performers, dancers, and more July 17-28.

This year's musical lineup includes everything from rock to funk to roots, including A Waste Odyssey, Haunter, The JD Edwards Band, The Lytics, Mama Cutsworth, The Noble Thiefs, The Revival, Romi Mayes, and This Hisses. 

Fringe Fest will also team up with the Exchange District BIZ for an equally diverse series of non-hour concerts featuring Federal Lights, The Noble Thiefs, Fubuki Daiko, The F-Holes, Renée Lamoureux, Mise en Scene, and Sweet Alibi.
