Festival du Voyageur Unveils Lineup for 2021 Virtual Edition
Manitoba's premier winter festival will be celebrating a little differently this year. Festival du Voyageur has unveiled the music programming for this year's festival, which will be happening virtually. The festival's well-earned reputation for booking a broad genre-spanning acts including many stellar locals is intact, with eight-days of virtual concerts, two video series, and some added delicousness from Promenade Cafe & Wine and PAtent 5 Distillery, as well as virtual competitions, the beloved snow scultures, and more.
Running February 12-21, the concert series will feature 40 acts and stream for free via Facebook and YouTube.
This year's list of local artists includes some of the hottest local names in both French and English, including Andrina Turenne, Ariel Posen, Burnstick, Ça Claque, Dr. Henry Band, Fowler, Faouzia, Gen + Tonic, Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers, Justin Lacroix, Kelly Bado, Lisa Muswagon, Mattmac, Nikki Komaksiutiksak, Pierre Freynet, Rayannah, Red Moon Road, Sala, Sebastian Gaskin, Super Duty Tough Work, The Small Glories, Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, and more.
Other acts beaming in from outside the provincial borders include Bold As Lions, Celeigh Cardinal, Marie-Pierre Arthur, and Twin Flames.
