Andrina Turenne

Folk Roots Singer/songwriter

Andrina Turenne

Andrina Turenne is a singer, songwriter, and musician born and raised in St Boniface, Manitoba with strong ties to her Métis and Franco-Manitoban roots. Her sound is largely shaped by the rich musical traditions of her hometown of Winnipeg. She has contributed to over 40 album releases, has performed on stages across five continents and been featured on national and international radio and television broadcasts.  In the last few years, Andrina has gained experience composing for film and theatre productions, self-producing in her home studio and carving out time to write and craft new songs. She spent the earlier part of this year in pre-production with some of her oldest musical pals and she is currently working toward releasing her debut solo record in Spring 2022. Her music reflects lived experiences, lessons learned and dream-infused adventure. She now tells her own story for the first time, taking audiences from starry campfires to sweaty barrooms, and from quiet lakes to front-porch jams at sunrise.
