Signal Boost: Manitoba Music News Roundup

We're deeply saddened to hear of Carole Vivier's passing. It’s hard to find the right words to write about Carole. Icon. Trailblazer. Legend. Superconnector. Powerhouse. Champion. Mentor. Leader. All true and all on display during her 26-year tenure at Manitoba Film & Music. She’s been instrumental in building the film and music industries into the strong and thriving sectors that they are. Her compassion for the people on and off the stage and screen was equal to her passion for growing our industries. She made good things happen. She didn’t shrink from tough moments. She fought for the arts sector in Manitoba. That voice. That laugh. That presence whenever she walked into a room. She cared deeply. Of her many legacies, that’s the heart of it all. Thank you for everything, Carole. It’s been an honour.
