From the album 1000 Lives
Featured track, available from April 4 to April 12
Indie singer/songwriter Ingrid Gatin and her accordion are back in Manitoba this week for the hometown release party for her latest recording, 1000 Lives, which is out on Winnipeg label Pipe & Hat. Created with Grammy-nominated engineer/producer Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Basia Bulat, The Dears) between a loft and a church in Winnipeg and Bilerman’s studio in Montreal, Gatin's new album has been getting attention from the likes of Exclaim!, Beatroute, and Stylus. She will bring her 1000 Lives the West End Cultural Centre stage on April 10 with opening sets from Keri Latimer and Montreal's Twin Voices. Her song "Broken Tambourine" (not to be confused with her 2009 release by the same name) is this week's feature song... download it free and catch Ingrid Gatin live on stage.
