The Magnificent 7s
"Whiskey Song"

From the album Dirty Roads

Featured track, available from July 23 to July 30

The Magnificent 7s have a busy weekend lined up. Actually, the indie bluegrass outfit has quite a busy summer in general. On July 23, the band will hit the Royal Albert Arms for a double bill with The Crooked Brothers. On July 24, they'll head to Lac du Bonnet to play the third annual Fire 'n' Water Festival, which also features Twilight Hotel, Matt Epp, The F-Holes, Dust Rhinos, Scott Nolan, and The Perpetrators. They'll land in Old Market Square on the Fringe Festival's outdoor stage on July 25, take a day off, and then head to the West End Cultural Centre on July 27. They'll also be taking their banjos and guitars to Ear Falls August 7-9 for the Trout Forest Music Festival. As if that's not enough, they actually have a handful of other upcoming shows around Manitoba. So you have plenty of options to catch a Magnificent Sevens show in the next month. And on those rare days when the band isn't playing, you can tide yourself over by listening to your free download of "Whiskey Song" off their debut album Dirty Roads. It's in The Loudspeaker until July 30, just click the red button.
