"The End of the Bottle"
From the album Where's The Noise?
Featured track, available from March 4 to March 11
On March 6, the Winnipeg chapter of the International Solidarity Rock Campaign will host an all-ages, awareness-raising concert at the West End Cultural Centre. Rallying both support and funds for musicians in Cuba, local reggae rockers SubCity will joined by funk outfit The Shouting Ground and Edmonton's The Falklands for the high-energy event. In addition to the music, the event also includes an exhibition of Cuban art curated by Kelse Middleton of the University of Winnipeg’s Art History Students Association. The Manitoba-Cuba Solidarity will also be on hand to provide information on their activities. Solidarity Rock is a Canadian-based organization supporting cultural exchange between musicians and artists in Cuba and Canada. Click here to check out the event on Facebook. Download SubCity's "The End of the Bottle" off their latest release on Transistor 66, Where's The Noise, from The Loudspeaker, available until March 11.
