The 1221
"Thinking About You"
From the album Hello Yellow
Featured track, available from October 17 to October 25
The 1221 is 2019 busy with some new music and a handful of live shows. The power pop punk trio is set to launch new EP Hello Yello at the Royal Albert on October 18. The release party follows up highlights for the Manila-born, Winnipeg-based Maceda brothers like a spot on UMFM 101.5's Live Sessions, performing at mental health and suicide awareness fundraising show Pop Punk Party 3, and a feature on The Village Idiot's Live at the Roslyn. They also landed the top regional spot in the Jim Beam National Talent Search that secured them a showcase at Canadian Music Week in Toronto. Coming up, the band will hit the airwaves on Power 97 for Mandatory Manitoba on October 21 (tune in at 4:50PM). On the horizon, catch them on December 6 at The Park Theatre with Mobina Galore and The Ripperz and December 21 for Lights of the North at The Bay Downtown. But first... press play on their new single "Thinking About You" and don't miss the 1221 live on stage!
