Boats is launching Cannonballs, Cannonballs. The indie pop outfit celebrates the release of its sophomore effort, appropriately with an opening set by Cannon Bros. and, perhaps surprisingly, with an Extreme Spelling Bee Championship. Currently featured in MuchMusic's First Spin and already in the #1 spot on UMFM's charts, the album was recorded at Prairie Recording Co. by Ryan McVeigh, who helmed Boats' acclaimed 2007 debut, Intercontinental Champion.
