Winterruption Heats Up Winnipeg Stages, January 20-29

Winter is almost over and what better way to close off the season than with lots of live music! Winterruption returns January 20 - 29 with over a dozen shows in various Winnipeg venues, including, The Good Will Social Club, The Handsome Daughter,  The Park Theatre, The Rec Room, and West End Cultural Centre, presented by the WECC and Real Love Winnipeg.

The stellar lineup of artists hitting stages during this year’s fest includes Cassidy Mann, Darryl Buck, Dr Henry Band, Fold Paper, Jamboree, Kris Ulrich, Len Bowen, Living Hour, Mattmac, Tired Cossack, and more.

The WECC will host a special meetup of the BPM | Black Professionals in Music group before the concert featuring 2022 Polaris Music Prizer winner Pierre Kwenders on January 25. Find out more  

sākihiwē festival and the West End Cultural Centre are working together to present Round Dance hosted by JUNO Award winner Fawn Wood and Cree Confederation's Dallas Waskahat along with Darryl Buck and Kind Hart Women Singers. The free event, which welcomes families and includes a pipe ceremony and feast, takes place at the WECC on January 27.
