Pride Winnipeg Brings the Live Music to This Year's Festival at The Forks

Pride Winnipeg is ready to bring its 2024 festivities to the city and this year's celebration features plenty of live music.

The annual event kicks off May 24 with a variety of activities throughout the city, culminating in the festival at The Forks on June 1 and 2.

This year's Pride Winnipeg Festival welcomes a glittering lineup of drag performers as well as a stellar lineup of live music to the main stage including the equally glittery headliner Begonia and fellow local music makers including CEC, FONTINE, Paige Drobot, Taylor Jackson, Tyler Del Pino & The Brasstronautz, Veneer, and more.

The Kids Stage will feature live music from Bicycle Face, Jessee Havey & the Banana Band, and Mama Cutsworth's Family Dance Hour.

The Mamawi Stage -- renamed from the Community Stage to honour the memories two champions of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, Slaytana and Elder Kelly Houle -- is slated to feature dynamic performances from 2SQTBIPOC drag artists, bands, solo musicians, comedians, dancers, poets, and more throughout the weekend.
