Emerging Artists Connect with Manitoba Showcase in Brandon

The Indigenous Music Development Program is partnering with the Manitoba Arts Network (MAN) to connect emerging artists with mentors for the RBC Emerging Artists program at Manitoba Showcase 2024. The four-day event runs October 24 - 27 in Brandon offering four days of mentorship and pitches for different communities in Manitoba. 

Afro Indigenous hip hop artist Sly Skeeta, country rock artist and GURLZ GURLZ GURLZ member Tayller Mckinney, and dynamic hip hop duo The Resilience are participating in this year's RBC Emerging Artists programming, along with Afrobeat/hip hop/pop Arddie, funk/pop act Mari Padeanu, and alt-pop singer/songwriter Shay WolfRead more about this year's showcasing artists

Past participants include Becky Lou, Brandi Vezina, Gator Beaulieu, Kris Paul, Kristen McKay, KWIAT, Mitchell Makoons, Stun, and more.

Manitoba Showcase is an annual visual and performing arts conference that features some of the best Canadian artists, from a wide range of genres, for Manitoban presenters and galleries, connecting them with future opportunities and collaboration.
