About
Hooded Poncho is the pseudonym of Winnipeg-born, multi-instrumentalist Jean-Luc Loiselle. A musician since childhood, he has developed his songwriting and production skills over the years with the goal of releasing music that is true to himself and his inspirations.
His music blends many genres, creating an earthy sound with hints of funk-rock, soul and eclectic rhythms. The new double-single "Surface/Savant" is Hooded Poncho's first bilingual release, part of a debut album coming in 2021.
