The Soma Trip

The Soma Trip is a three piece band - bass drums and vocals. It's members are from Selkirk, MB and have been developing their sound since 2020. They are currently working on the transition from creation to delivery, and look forward to playing live often in the near future. Have you got empty slots in an up-coming show? To explain their sound: The Soma Trip are a thunderstorm of dancy, heart wrenching fuzzy alternative rock  picking up hues from grunge, riot grrl, indie-punk, desert rock, even some funk and blues, heavily influenced by a wide variety of Rock and Roll movements. The three piece -  1) Our drum heart beat: Dancy and snazzy 2) Our Fuzzy Filled out wall of sound Bass riffs that marry simplicity of a single stringed instrument with effect pedals and catchy licks and 3) Emotionally charged vocals that growl, wail, and float through the spaces of the music.

Fuzz.Flow.Thump.Crash.Howl.....These are the components that culminate into The Soma Trip.
